My name is Mohammed Tufail Uppal. I was born in a town- Raja Sansi India on December 20th 1921. This town is located about eleven kilometers north-west from the city of Amritsar on Ajnala road. While I approach towards the 90th year of my life I like to narrate my firsthand experience about partition of India.
Our family lived for over a century in Raja Sansi. My ancestors named Kishan Lal and Bishan Lal moved from Rajisthan to Raja Sansi Punjab in 1798. |
Floods, apathy and lawlessness

I visited Pakistan amongst sheer crisis of floods. Water less or more create havoc in subcontinent and this year floods broke all records and millions are displaced, thousands have flown in the water and it is a setback for dwindling economy of Pakistan which relies mainly on crops.
